The name comes to life from Greek mythology. Arethusa, a nymph devoted to Artemis, the goddess of the hunt, one day found herself separated from her group and arrived at the banks of the river Alpheus in the Peloponnese. Enchanted by the clear waters and the suffocating heat, she undressed and immersed herself in the river. Suddenly, the waters began to swirl, and Alpheus, the river god, appeared madly in love with her.
Terrified, Arethusa fled and implored Artemis just as Alpheus was about to reach her. Artemis, responding to her plea, transformed her into a spring, causing her to sink underground and reemerge in Ortygia, Sicily.
This myth not only belongs to Greek tradition but is also deeply connected to Sicilian culture. Ortygia is a small island connected to the city of Syracuse, and the Arethusa spring is one of its most famous attractions, symbolizing the meeting of legend and Sicilian territory.
Desperate, Alpheus asked Jupiter for help, who dug an underground channel allowing the god to reach Ortygia and his beloved Arethusa. Only after this extraordinary act of love did Arethusa accept Alpheus's feelings, sealing their love with the eternal union of their waters.
It all began in Sicily…
After graduating from university, two young people, Giulia and Pierpaolo, found themselves sharing a common journey in search of a meaningful future. Their deep love for their warm and passionate homeland held them back from leaving in search of better opportunities elsewhere. Yet, their passion for travel, discovering hidden gems, and experiencing diverse cultures captivated them and fueled their dreams.
Amidst a whirlwind of thoughts and advice, Giulia and Pierpaolo realized their aspirations were not so far apart. They didn't need to leave Sicily to find the serenity they desired, nor did they need to travel far to have unique cultural experiences. In a moment of clarity, they decided to leverage a powerful and accessible tool: the Internet.
They began a series of passionate searches for lesser-known places in Sicily and beyond, concluding that the best way to achieve their dreams without having to choose between their love for their homeland and their passion for travel was to open a luxury travel agency.

With passion and determination, Giulia and Pierpaolo brought to life a project that marries their respect for beloved Sicily with their desire to explore the world, offering their clients trips that not only tell stories but create them.
